I really appreciate your effort with this- I’ve always been horrible with remembering. My new gf is naturally good at it so I want to make sure we can both enjoy our memories together.
Trying to glean ways to reduce the time to recall for a month. Mine sits at about 8 mins, minimum. But I’m going to more closely follow your methodical approach and we’ll see.
I’m now at over 3 months. Takes between 10-15 mins, depending on the day.
I went straight to something like your final method- 2 day windows for the previous x months 4 day Windows for 28 days ago until 11 days ago Every day for last 11 days. It seems to all stick, for now.
Thanks for the inspiration man! Its def changed my life. Will it go forever? I don’t know! Maybe one day I’ll just start picking ‘special’ days and remembering those in a certain way - closer to what most people do. But for now, I’m enjoying the challenge!
